Ask MeWhile I'm Here

Some conversations are too important to leave for tomorrow.

The stories we carry. The voices we love. The moments we still have.

Every life holds a story worth keeping.

You don't need to be famous for your story to matter. Everyday people are loved, resilient, generous, wise and wonderfully human — and the stories they carry deserve to be heard while we can still ask.

Ask Me While I'm Here is for people of any age and any stage of life: grandparents and great-aunts, parents and partners, friends and neighbors, and those living with serious illness who want their voice remembered in their own words.

The Podcast

Real stories, told by the people who lived them.

Unhurried conversations about first jobs and long marriages, hard seasons and small joys, the advice we'd give our younger selves.

Private Legacy Sessions

Personalized, recorded conversations with a parent, grandparent, partner, sibling or any loved one. Private sessions stay private — they are never automatically shared on the podcast.

  1. Step 1: Reach out

Send a short note about the person you'd love to hear from and what matters to your family.

  2. Step 2: Plan the conversation

Together, we shape gentle questions around the memories and themes they'd like to share.

  3. Step 3: Share the memories

A relaxed, guided conversation at their pace. They choose what to say and what to keep.

  4. Step 4: Keep their story

The recording stays with your family — a voice and a story to return to.

Why it matters

Your Host

Jennyffer Kurz

Jennyffer created Ask Me While I'm Here as an independent project with one simple hope: that more families hear the stories of the people they love — and keep their voices — while there's still time to ask.
